Been busy

Dustin leaves in 5 weeks, so we’ve been busy getting all the shtuff together.  Trying to sell the truck, get the wills in order, and all the paperwork that goes with a deployment!

And today it is so smokey they recommended not going outside – great – my kids LIVE outside – LOL!

The girls finished their summer reading program and each got a free book from the library – so they were excited about that.  And Maddie is EVERYWHERE rolling and scooting. We keep calling her turtle because she sticks her head out like a little turtle!

 

Oh! And can you believe its almost AUGUST!!! SHEESH!! Where has this year gone!

After awhile we figured it was safer to just take the hooks off and let them practice casting!  Ruby was really good at it! We didn’t catch anything of course, they didn’t have the patience to actually sit and wait for a fish to bite, they kept reeling it in to recast.

more pictures of the baby!!!  Well, Karis also had a birthday, Sierra lost ANOTHER tooth (she’s going to have to get creative in her eating! LOL!) and Ruby is the same ole same ole.

Maddie sporting her cloth diapers – they really make me so happy – and her butt is too squishy in them!

Oh, and now she’s officially a thumb sucker! She takes the bink out of her mouth and puts her thumb in!

Sierra lost her 3rd tooth, now she’s missing two on top, and one on the bottom left

Ruby is just a plain ole dork – I busted up laughing when I saw these pics on the computer. I was downloading pics and apparently Sierra was taking a bunch of Ruby when we were on the Riverboat…

It took forever to blow out the candles, she just wasn’t getting close enough with the AIR… she almost burnt her lips once even, and finally Sierra helped her out! If you didn’t notice, Abby Cadabby was the theme – she got a Abby baby doll and an Abby lego set that even the adults were playing with – its cool!

Land of the Midnight Sun

I am loving the summer up here!!!  Lots of sunshine and GORGEOUS weather.  The only thing that gets us is not realizing how late it really is.

I’ll give you a hint… Dustin and I had just gotten home from a movie.

 

Oh, DINNER and a movie – a late movie!  The picture was taken at 1am!!!!!!  See what I mean – its hard to not be out playing and enjoying the summer when it never gets dark.

 

Okay, I’ll take it though!  Much better than being stuck inside with NO SUN in December!
