Merry Christmas!

We went this morning and saw Santa Clause! Sierra asked Santa for a Baby Doll and Barbie Phone, Ruby asked Santa for a Race Car, and Karis wasn't quite sure what was going on but she was happy as usual!

Karis Marie is learning how to eat cereal this week! She is having some trouble getting used to swallowing it but everyday she has made some progress. We also see a tooth in the bottom front part of her mouth that looks like it might break through the gums very soon!

Here is our little Kare-Bear in her Care-Bear outfit! Daddy and Mommy thinks she makes a very cute Kare-Bear! :-)

Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer

3D Rudolph

Sierra heard "Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer" on the stereo the other day and started laughing. Then she asked if it was Grandma Patty. Daddy told her, you'll have to ask Grandma Patty. She got a kick out of telling Grandma Patty this weekend that she got ran over by a Reindeer.

Happy Thanksgiving

We want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving! Here are a few more pics that were taken this week.

Ruby is finally taking some interest in the potty. She is still just sitting on the potty just to sit but at least it's a step in the right direction. She has been excited to use her new princess potty that Grandma Patty and Pappa Donn sent her last week in the mail!

Here is Sierra and Ruby sporting their new tee-shirts Grandma and Pappa 'Salvo sent them!

Isn't our little Kare-Bear so cute :-)

Karis Marie is growing so fast!! She is allready wearing 9-12 months clothes and is only 4 months old!

Happy Halloween

The girls had a blast Trick or Treating tonight! They went around the block with Daddy while Mommy and Karis handed out candy. I only got one picture of them though, so tomorrow, we are going to dress up and do a Princess Photo Shoot. I'm sure the girls will get a kick out of that.

Friendly Forest and Hay Ride

We went on a Hayride to the Friendly Forest last night with the girls. They jumped in a Jumping Castle, made candy necklaces, and Sierra even felt some brain, guts, and teeth (cauliflower, spaghetti, and popcorn kernels)! Afterwards they got their faces painted. Sierra wanted to be a clown - she's kind of scary, huh! And Ruby wanted to be a kitty meow-meow! Tomorrow is the Halloween party at Daddy's work, and then Tuesday we're going Trick or Treating!

Happy Birthday Dustin!

Happy Birthday my dear Husband! You're so funny, thinking that you're getting old! "26 is almost 30" you tell me. Hehehe, just remember that I love you no matter how old you get (because I'll always be younger :p)

Its a Good Thing she's Cute!

Last night I went to the commissary to do some food shopping. I got home about 8:15 and brought a load of groceries up. Dustin went down with Sierra (she likes to help) to get another load. I was going to help get one more load and then stay upstairs and put the groceries away while Dustin finished up. Ruby was standing in the hallway and I told her to keep an eye on Karis (she was in her bassinet) and Mommy would be right back. She said okay, and went back into the living room. Well, Sierra, Dustin and I all came up the stairs with groceries and Sierra couldn't get the door open. I tried the handle and it was locked! We rang the doorbell and Ruby came to the door. But she couldn't get it unlocked!

We tried to get her to turn the knob, and she couldn't get it, so I ran downstairs to a neighbor's and called maitenance. They said they would be right out. Dustin was still trying to get Ruby to turn the knob and she got frustrated and was saying "I can't do it" and throwing shoes at the door. I tried for a little bit and I heard Ruby start to cry and a door slam. By this time Karis is really pissed off and screaming. At least we could tell she was still breathing because we could hear her crying out in the hallway. But we waited 35 minutes for the maitenance guy to come unlock our door. The last 15 minutes we could hear Karis crying, but we didn't hear a peep out of Ruby. We were knocking and ringing the bell so Ruby would come to the door or we would at least hear her say something. But it was silence and we were getting worried.

As soon as the guy unlocked the door I dashed in the apartment looking for Ruby. I came running in the living room, and what do think she was doing? Sitting on the couch watching cartoons. I said Ruby! And she looked at me like "Hi mom! You're back." So she was basically just ignoring us and watching cartoons! If she wasn't so cute she'd be dead! I picked Karis up and we brought the rest of the groceries in and put them away as ice cream, milk, and everything else had been sitting out for about 50 minutes.

What an eventful night! Needless to say, our neighbor now has a spare key ;-)

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin Patch today. Ruby was being Miss Priss and didn't want to get muddy or touch the 'Ucky Punkins.' But Sierra was running around, trying to pick up the big ones, throwing the littler ones, and finally decided on a middle-sized one to bring home. Ruby said she didn't want a pumpkin, so I had Sierra pick one out for her. Wouldn't you know, she picked out a pumpkin that was half green and about the size of an apple! LOL - I told her, no, lets get Ruby a nicer one. LOL
We got the pumpkins and put them in the car and then went to ride the tractor to the barn to see the Cows, Chickens, Pigs, and Geese. However, Ruby didn't want to ride the tractor and threw a fit. So Sierra went by herself (with the playgroup leader) and Mommy and Karis and Ruby were going to drive the two miles in the van to the barn. Well, its been raining - although today was gorgeous - and we got stuck in the mud! So we had to jump into someone elses' van who was driving up. We missed the cows, but we got to see the chickens and pigs with the group. When the group got to the Geese, Ruby decided to be brave and try to chase the Geese. Well, one of them turned around and started chasing her! She ran screaming and ended up falling in a mud hole! Poor Baby ,but it was hilarious. I didn't get a picture though because I didn't want everyone in the playgroup to think I was a mean mom! Afterwards, we hitched a ride back down the hill to our car. The farmer and 3 other people had to push our car while I hit the gas to get us out of the mud. All in all, we had an exciting trip to the Pumpkin Patch and now the girls have pumpkins to paint. Sierra told me she wants to go back again tomorrow, Ruby told me she doesn't want an 'Ucky Punkin!' I think her attitude had something to do with the fact that the Pumpkin Patch trip was scheduled during a toddler's nap time!

New Stuff

Well, Sierra started school last week and she's loving it. Now my objective is to find somewhere for Ruby and Karis to go to so I can have my insanity back at least a few hours a week...

It's starting to get cooler here and raining a lot lately. Sierra is already excited about when it snows and she can play in the snow this winter. She wants to make a snowman like on one of the movies she loves to watch. She's been into old classics and musicals. So, for the last week she's rotated between Meet Me in St. Louis, In the Good Ole Summertime, and Breakfast at Tiffany's. I'm in the process of looking for Singing in the Rain and the Sound of Music for her, so if you're out and about and see them and want to pick them up (hint hint Grandma's!) they would make good Christmas gifts.

Also, I'm hunting for a Baby Record book for Karis. The only requirement I want it to have is a dental chart to write in the dates she got her teeth in. So if anyone is out and about, another Christmas gift, or pick one up and I'll be happy to pay you back for it. I just can't find one over here, and when I look online it doesn't tell me if there is a dental chart in the book itself and I can't flip through it :)

And since I'm on the subject. If you buy the girls something could you please jot me an email so I can keep a list and let others know who's bought what for who - make sense ;-) and we don't get duplicate gifts. Thanks!

Ruby's Spongebob Party

We had a BBQ and Birthday Party at the park today. It looked like rain, but it stayed dry long enough for us to get our partying done :-) Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Rubriana

Miss Rubriana is 2 years old today! Here are some pictures of her opening her gifts and then at the park. She woke up and opened presents, then we ate McDonalds at the park and walked around the Ramstein Bazaar today. Tomorrow Daddy is taking us to Kid Zone and Saturday is Ruby's Spongebob Birthday Party. Enjoy!

Labor Day

Happy Labor Day!

Dustin actually got a holiday off **gasp** and we're just lounging around today. I wanted to post this cute picture of Karis - she smiles at Mommy and Daddy now and its so adorable!

Also, Ruby's birthday is coming up September 14th and she lets everyone know that she's having a Spongebob Birthday. If you ask her how old she's going to be, you'll get an 'I be two.' Oh, and for weeks now she's been singing 'Happy Birthday Dear Ruby, Happy Birthday Dear Ruby' over and over and over. She's going to be sorely upset when her birthday is over!

Website Deleted

Okay, I've deleted the old website so you will no longer be able to access it. Any and all pictures will now be posted to this blog. This is much easier for me, because I can just type my message and add a picture or two. And with three little monsters in my house now, I need something easy or you all won't see a picture until they're 8 years old!
