I got to meet Marinka!

One of my ScrapGoods friends came to visit us last week. Marinka is Dutch and lives in the Netherlands. We chatted online for about a year before we finally met in person. We had SO MUCH FUN!!! We scrapped (of course) and took the kids to the park and BX. And of course we had to go to the Craft Store in Heidelberg. My girls did not know Dutch and hers did not know English, but they found a way to play together. Sierra would boss around Sander in English like he understood her and he was doing the same thing in Dutch. LOL! It was so funny. Like I said, it was a great visit, and Sierra is already asking when we can go to the Netherlands and visit Marinka and 'that boy and girl' :-)

Karis and Remco. Karis was always taking something from him - usually his binky!

What a GREAT set of photos. I loved seeing them!!!

Seeing housing in Germany has made me "homesick" once again. I couldn't WAIT to get out of there...would go back in a heartbeat-LOL.

I am so jealous that you got to meet in person!!! But SO glad that you did!

Looks like the kids were able to bridge the language barrier and everyone had a great time!
