Our Daisy Girl Scout

Sierra had her Investiture ceremony tonight.  She got her Girl Scout pin and the patches she has earned so far - 5 (and one still on order!)

Here she is saying her Girl Scout 'Petal'  She earns petals of the Daisy for her vest.

And we were informed that the next meeting is January 12th - HOWEVER, Girl Scout Cookie sales start January 10th!!!  So let us know if you need any cookies!!!  They will all be shipped here, so that is perfectly fine if you don't want to buy them - just letting the grandmas know

Congratulations to our little G.S. I always loved being a girl scout. Mom, with all she had on her plate, was our leader. I don't know how she did it. On another topic - Happy Belated Birthday, Aleta. Grandma and I talked about your birthday coming up early last week and then we two old ladies forgot the date anyway. It is "heck" to get old and lose half your brain cells. The date may have been forgotten but you, my dearie, are never far from our thoughts and prayers. Aunt Phyllis

Don't they look cute! Didn't have Daisy's when I was little, here you are a Rainbow and then a Brownie :)

As for cookies - thankfully for my health I think the shipping would be a bit much!

Grandma Patty and Poppa Donn are very proud of you, Sierra, and your accomplishments. We're so glad you are a Daisy! Grandma loved being in girl scouts and working hard to get my badges too! I would love to buy a couple of boxes of cookies for you, and maybe a couple of boxes to donate to airmen also. Keep up the great work, Sierra. We love you...
