Sierra, daddy is so proud of your writing and reading! You are doing great! And I'm glad to see how much you love Jesus! But you do need your beauty sleep as well so that you can be wide awake and alert for school the next day! Maybe ask mommy if you can have 30 minuites of journal/reading time when you first go to bed and then put it away and get some sleep. If mommy is willing to make some kind of arrangement like that though you need to keep your side of the bargain and put it away when she tells you. Love to all!!

Sierra, Grandma and Poppa are soooo proud of you! You have quite a gift for writing and reading. You are so smart! Keep up the great work! I'll bet Jesus is smiling too, when He reads your writing.

I don't know about Jesus smiling, but I sure am. Aleta, I read something interesting by a contributor to Pioneer Woman's homeschool blog about not correcting and over analysing kids writing too much while they're too young. You should just let them use their imagination and write. That said, I know that when my brother and sister went through high school they didn't get marked down for spelling unless they spelt things two different ways and your Sierra is nothing, if not consistent. LOL. I think Dustin's right and Sierra should strike a bargain with her Mommy though!
