We went to the Pumpkin Patch today. Ruby was being Miss Priss and didn't want to get muddy or touch the 'Ucky Punkins.' But Sierra was running around, trying to pick up the big ones, throwing the littler ones, and finally decided on a middle-sized one to bring home. Ruby said she didn't want a pumpkin, so I had Sierra pick
one out for her. Wouldn't you know, she picked out a pumpkin that was half green and about the size of an apple! LOL - I told her, no, lets get Ruby a nicer one. LOLWe got the pumpkins and put them in the car and then went to ride the tractor to the barn to see the Cows, Chickens, Pigs, and Geese. However, Ruby didn't want to ride the tractor and threw a fit. So Sierra went by herself (with the playgroup leader) and Mommy and Karis and Ruby were going to drive the two miles in the van to the barn. Well, its been raining - although today was gorgeous - and we got stuck in the mud! So we had to jump into
someone elses' van who was driving up. We missed the cows, but we got to see the chickens and pigs with the group. When the group got to the Geese, Ruby decided to be brave and try to chase the Geese. Well, one of them turned around and started chasing her! She ran screaming and ended up falling in a mud hole! Poor Baby ,but it was hilarious. I didn't get a picture though because I didn't want everyone in the playgroup to think I was a mean mom! Afterwards, we hitched a ride back down the hill to our car. The farmer and 3 other people had to push our car while I hit the gas to get us out of the mud. All in all, we
had an exciting trip to the Pumpkin Patch and now the girls have pumpkins to paint. Sierra told me she wants to go back again tomorrow, Ruby told me she doesn't want an 'Ucky Punkin!' I think her attitude had something to do with the fact that the Pumpkin Patch trip was scheduled during a toddler's nap time!

I don't know how you do all the things you do and tote 3 kids around to do it. You are an awesome mommy!
